More and more people are looking to improve the appearance of their teeth and smile, realising it’s no longer just for the rich and famous, and feeling happier and more confident as a result.
By offering a complete range of Cosmetic Dentistry and Facial Cosmetics, we feel confident we can meet your needs and wishes, perhaps even giving you options you never realised were available to you. And by using advanced technology and software, we can even give you the chance to see your proposed new look before treatment starts.
Whatever it is you wish to change, we believe we can help. And you might be pleasantly surprised at how quickly and easily some changes can be made.
A great smile isn’t just about the teeth, it’s also about the lips and the lines around the mouth and chin. So, for a complete smile makeover, more and more Patients are also opting for anti-wrinkle and line reduction injections, to restore volume and reduce the appearance of lines and wrinkles around the lips and the lower half of the face.
Cosmetic Dentistry is an increasingly fast-moving world, with advances in techniques and technology offering new options all the time. The Dr Grant brand has been built on embracing new treatments and techniques which benefit you, as a Patient, in terms of better, safer, more long-lasting results.
We very much believe in conserving your teeth whilst enhancing their appearance and certainly don’t believe in destructive ‘quick-fix’ solutions often seen on TV or in magazines.
In terms of Straightening, revolutionary new braces can now align teeth in months rather than years, even weeks in some cases, while Whitening can revitalise the natural teeth without the need to remove any enamel.
Cosmetic Fillings, shade-matched to your natural tooth colour, can not only be used to replace old silver amalgam fillings but can also be carefully shaped to aesthetically restore worn down teeth or fill minor gaps.
For more damaged teeth, Crowns or Dental Bridges can restore their shape and function, combining strength with the look and translucency of natural teeth. Where the tooth surface of individual teeth is rough or discoloured, Veneers can be fitted to restore smoothness and the look of enamel. They can also be used to align teeth.
With Veneers, Crowns and Dental Bridges, we usually refer cases to our Cosmetic Technician who, with great skill, can recreate the natural appearance of enamel, matching or enhancing the shades according to your wishes.
There’s now also a new option for replacing missing teeth – Dental Implants – where a tiny titanium screw acts like the missing tooth root and holds a Crown or Dental Bridge. This is the most advanced way to replace missing teeth permanently and lies at the cutting edge, where dentistry meets surgery.
To complete the look, Patients often choose to have Botox® and/or Dermal Filler injections in the lower half of the face. For lips, we can use small amounts of Botox® to soften fine lines around the mouth and/or Dermal Filler to restore lip volume. We can then also use Dermal Filler to soften nose-to-mouth and mouth-to-chin lines.
We rely on our intimate understanding of the face muscles, as qualified and experienced Dentists, to inject with precision to ensure a refreshed, natural-looking result.
And there’s nothing better than hearing a Patient is happy with the end look, especially when they tell us that their friends haven’t noticed they’ve had anything done, just that they look really well!
