Dr Richard Brookshaw

Implant Surgeon

Nationally and internationally renowned implant surgeon Dr Richard Brookshaw has been an associate dentist at St Ann’s Dental Clinic for over 10 years, practising in oral surgery and implant placement. He qualified as a dentist from the University of Dundee in 1996, gaining a MMedSci in oral surgery from the University of Sheffield three years later. In 2001 he completed an 18-month implant training programme at Sheffield. He was a clinical assistant in oral surgery at Leicester Royal Infirmary and has held senior posts at Royal Hallamshire Hospital, Northern General Hospital and Sheffield Children’s Hospital as well treating patients in part-time practice. He has undertaken further training throughout Europe and the USA. Respected worldwide as a lecturer and mentor in implant dentistry and Nobelguide CT scan guided surgery, he also lectures for Nobel Biocare on advanced implant techniques. Since 2003 he has lectured at St Ann’s Dental Clinic and was a keynote speaker at the 2008 Clinical Innovations Conference in London.
